A different area of the Rhone Alpes/ A bit higher and snowier than the previous post.
So.... If I cannot use my credit card, I have to get gas between 8:30 and 12, OR 3pm and 7pm? Assuming someone actually showed up for work? That complicates things. There were many of the 24 hour gas stops that my credit card did not work at, which meant that I always had to fill up early to ensure I was not stuck in some small town without gas. Gas stations are everywhere, but not all work with all cards. I have not had this issue since leaving France though.

There were lots of these churches placed WAY up on hills and peaks. Not sure why, maybe to test your faith?

This is the path that Hannibal took to get his African Elephants from Cartegena, today's Spain, over the Alps to Italy in 218 BC. That was a little before my time, so I won't get into the details. I didn't see any elephants though.
